Department Leadership
Lead and manage the Speech Therapy Department
Oversee scheduling, workflows, and documentation systems
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Support clinic growth and quality-of-care initiatives
Supervision & Mentorship
Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and training to SLPAs
Observe sessions and deliver constructive feedback
Support staff with challenging cases and parent communication
Ensure compliance with California licensure and supervision requirements
Clinical Services
Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Maintain a small caseload (8–12 clients) for direct therapy
Track and document client progress
Documentation & Compliance
Complete evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports
Review and co-sign SLPA documentation as needed
Manage insurance authorizations and payer compliance
Collaboration
Work alongside BCBAs and other providers in a multidisciplinary setting
Communicate effectively with families, schools, and referral sources
Support recruiting and onboarding of new team members
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current California SLP license (CCC-SLP)
3+ years of pediatric experience, including ASD treatment
1+ year of experience supervising SLPAs or leading a team
Knowledge of insurance documentation and reporting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Self-starter who thrives in leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience growing or establishing a therapy program
Prior clinic-based leadership experience
Training in PROMPT, AAC, or other specialized pediatric methods
Bilingual (preferred but not required)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to lead our Speech Therapy Department. In this leadership role, you will guide and mentor a team of SLPAs, oversee daily operations, and maintain a small pediatric caseload. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our speech program while enjoying the support of a close-knit, mission-driven team.
We value work-life balance. While this is a full-time role (generally 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), we offer flexibility within your schedule to support both client needs and your personal well-being.
